Merissa and Cayson Ray

One final mini shoot for the Christmas season....not gonna lie...I went out with a bang!   We totally skipped all formalities when we got together, cause she and I work together....and we had only a half hour before the rain dumped out on us. It was a last minute session, on a dreary, windy, overcast day.   But when you're as photogenic as these two...it obviously doesn't matter!  Her smile, his dimples....every shot was picture perfect!

Enjoy your sneak peak!

Philip Extended Family Session

I am probably the biggest fan of Anita's family.
Her immediate family, her cousins and her extended family....not gonna lie...I secretly wish I was a part of them.  They are individually awesome....but together?  Mind blowing.
All this time, I figured Susheel was a lucky guy to have married her...and inherit them.

And then a few days ago, I met HIS family...

What a great group the Philip's are!  Uncle and Aunty are so in love with their whole crew.  They were just tickled to have their little ones surrounding them.  Tom and Susan are raising the most incredible band of brothers I've met.  We all just hit it off so well...it must be because we are Ranny people.  I have YET to meet someone from Ranny, that I didn't like!

Philip family, thank you for the opportunity yet again to photograph your beautiful crew...what a truly special group you all are....the pleasure was all mine!

Families matter,
Shiny

The Focke Family

The Focke family consists of a dad, mom and two boys...sound familiar?!
Where it gets crazy is the fact that we live on the same street, in houses that have the SAME floor plan!!  (cue the Twilight Zone music)

What a pleasure it is to be neighbors with this family, icing on the cake was getting to take their photos!!
Why are some people so photogenic?!   Lord have mercy, they made my job easy!

Enjoy your sneak peek!!

The Dosa Factory

Get ready Houstonians, the Dosa Factory is about to be here!!  So excited to be able to work behind the scenes as the final preparations are being made for the Grand Opening of the Dosa Factory on October 5!!

As my very first food photography shoot, I must say, I think I could get used to this!!  What an awesome time we had deciding which lighting location would be best, which backgrounds would work, and of course, deciding which angle to capture the taste and texture of the food!  No posing of people or kids running out of the frame...a nice calm before the Christmas season storm!

Thank you, George, Niraj and Dhannya, for a fabulous opportunity!  So excited to show this city what is coming!   Not sure how it is possible, but every dish was even more delicious than what I captured....and these photos look beautifully tasty!!

And....let me just say, this was probably my favorite shoot I've ever done.  Why?  Because every. single. thing. that I took a photo of.....I ended up eating!!

Dosa Factory...here's to a fabulous beginning in Houston!!  Cheers!

Meet me at the Dosa Factory,

My flower girl is a woman now...

This week, my baby cousin starts college.  How did this happen?!  When did she grow up into this amazing woman?  I can hardly believe this day has arrived!  I remember it like yesterday, watching her walk down the aisle as my flower girl...dropping all the petals in her first three steps which wiped the smile off her face....but still doing the SLOWEST wedding march EVER!!  :)

Silvy, you are the absolute light of our lives.  You have been such a joy to watch grow up, and you will never know what you mean to us.  You are the source of so many of my fondest memories.  And now, you are giving my boys the best childhood with all the love you show them, and for that I am forever grateful.

Silvy...please know how incredibly proud we are of you, and the woman you have become.  You are going to AMAZING at whatever you dream to be, we believe that with our whole heart.  And our prayer is that God will guide your feet in His direction and that you would continue to delight our world with your fearless spirit.

Ashley and David's Engagment

What a dynamic couple these two make..I can't even imagine the blessing they will be once they officially join forces and get married next year!

Ashley and David are two of the kindest and most sincere young people I have met!  Such genuine love for God, and for each other.  And is it any wonder?  They hail from two amazing families who have been such an integral part of our church, I can't believe these two weren't betrothed to each other!

This engagement was truly a celebration of great things to come!  Apparently Ashley was the mastermind behind all the decor and creating ambiance....and David's family was so impressed by every detail, it was so sweet!

David and Ashley, thank you for having me....and happy wedding planning!

I wanna trade smiles with this one....

Look how smitten she is....

can't wait to see these two tie the knot!

Cheers!

Candice and Anthony's Wedding

What an amazing job this bride (and her entire family) did for her wedding! The handmade decor along with the DELICIOUS homemade food was IMPRESSIVE!!

With the support of such a loving family, there is no doubt that Candice and Anthony are going to stand the test of time in their marriage!
Thank you, my sweet friend, for picking me to capture your special day!  While I wore the worst shoes possible, the atmosphere of your entire day made it worthwhile!

Anthony, you have a gem....cherish that woman...and I promise she (and her whole family, apparently) will take care of you for the rest of her life!  Congrats!  Here's your sneak peek!

Smiles are ALWAYS in style,

Thomas Family....

Susan Chacko and I were friends from the get go in high school...if you don't count the small issue of me calling her a really ugly name...
