Thomas Family....

Susan Chacko and I were friends from the get go in high school...if you don't count the small issue of me calling her a really ugly name before I got to know her.....(I've always had a way with words)....judging her solely on the fact that she was pretty....and I wasn't....
   
Anyhow...I forgave her for being prettier than me...and she forgave me for the name calling...and then we had 4 amazing years of high school together...ugh...those were truly the days...

And then we graduated...and completely let our friendship go down the drain....
As in...never met...not even once...in nearly 20 years....how did we let that happen?!

In any case...we hung out earlier this year for the first time since high school...and picked right back up where we left off...and it has been SO good for my soul to have her back in my life!

We both are boymoms...we introduced our kiddos and they became fast friends...and our hubby's both work at MD Anderson and were buddies before we introduced them...

We got together for this shoot last month...I was so tickled to get to capture photos of her beautiful family before baby #3 made his debut!  How gorgeous is she?! And her little guys are such sweethearts...I can't wait to get my hands on your newest one!

Chaluparambil Family....

This family rolls DEEP....as in 17 peeps deep!  What a fun and appropriate numbered photo shoot to end 2017!
Not gonna lie, I had no earthly idea what I was agreeing to when I said yes to doing this multi generational shoot...it's pretty freaking hard to get 17 people to look at the camera all at the same time and not one person blink or lick their lips....but it is so worth the effort...especially to get the matriarch of the Chaluparambil family included in a session like this....I loved the opportunity to capture these treasures....

Chrissy is one of the oldest and most loved people from my childhood.  Her family is entwined with my history....I never doubted how precious she was..very early on I knew she was the apple of her parent's eye...

And to see her now surrounded by Phil's family...who clearly adore her and cherish her as their own...was such a special thing to witness....and her love for them was palpable....

The Chaluparambil family was such a fun loving and sweet group of people...and I felt right at home with them as they're as big into dentistry as I am...I had the best time hanging out with them...

Thank you Phil and Chrissy for letting me meet your entire crew...it was truly a pleasure!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lopez Family....

Candice is one of the peeps I spend my weekdays with...been working with this wild woman for the last 10 years...and it was such a blast spending my weekend with her sweet family...chasing after her little man!!

I was basically there from the inception of this family...considering I photographed their wedding day...so this was pretty much gonna be a breeze for me...or so I thought...

Luke kept Candi, Anthony and me on our toes during this shoot....he was SUPER cooperative with his face...butttttt his body could not stop moving!!  He's such a stinker!  Luckily he's got his momma's dimple when he smiles...and can get away with just about anything!  

And we totally got some beautiful shots of their family....to cherish these last moments of the terrible two's...before his third birthday!!

Reg and Jess....

How is this even my job?!  
To take pictures of my sweet friend and her AMAZING family...way too much fun! 

Jess has been my nearest and dearest friend since junior high...and easily the person I have spent the most time with on the phone over all these years...if you ever meet us...you'd wonder how either of us got a word in edgewise with the other one on the line....
She is the soprano to my alto....and we have spent many of those hours on the phone singing in parts...I'm not one to brag...but our voices basically complement each other's perfectly...:) 
Also...we are not shy....ask us...we'll perform for you...pahahahaahahah....I wish I was kidding...

Jess is a photographers dream....she knows what I am aiming for even before I say it...and her entire family follows suit!  They were excellent with posing and having a good time!  Even Reg!  I loved hanging out with this precious family for the photo shoot and then the hangout at my house afterwards...was the icing on the cake! 

The last time the George's took family pictures was 8 years ago.  How is that even possible?  And I am 98% sure I was the last one to take those pictures...
If I had two adorable girls like this, I'd be taking family pictures every year...no lie.

Justin and Sheena's engagement...

Sweet Sheena had her official engagement to Justin this past weekend...it was a beyond gorgeous event...bright beautiful colors...lovely venue....and enough family and friends to fill your heart...
She looked like Jasmine...with her prince Aladdin....

Sheena!  As in my Kindergarten Sunday school student...who is now about to start her own family life...excuse me while I go file for AARP...

Sheena's family is probably the sweetest most loving group of people who could possibly reside in one house...
And she found the perfect gentleman to take her hand in marriage...Justin comes from a long line of beautiful, God-loving people...I am so happy that my sweet girl is joining his family!

Okay...so besides the fact that I forgot to take pics of the entrance table before it got taken down...and poor Gena and Joshua had to go get the decor from the packed car that had already left the engagement....and set it all up again so I could photograph it.... (seriously...I am still mortified that I made that rookie mistake)....everythinggggg else about this event was perfect and super easy to photograph...
And since I couldn't settle on the usual 10 preview pictures...here's 20 pictures to enjoy!!  I could stare at these two all day!!
